The reason why you should skip this, is because by making your bed in the morning the tight sheets will trap millions of dust mites that live on your bed, feeding off your dead skin cells and sweat and they potentially contribute to asthma and allergy problems. If you leave your bed unmade and open, it will expose the creatures to fresh air and light, and it will help dehydrate and kill them off.


Researches from the Kingston University found that the dust mites can’t survive in hot, dry conditions in the unmade bed.

An average bed in your bedroom can hold up to 1.5 million house dust mites!

The inventor of the microscope, Anton van Leeuwenhoek, in the 1964th, was the first that saw these organisms. They are best seen under a microscope when they are well lit and on a black background.
